We'll say what we can, but too much conversation this late at night so close to bed would not benefit us." He said slowly.

Zeus and Poseidon were staring in silent amazement as they watched their children behave so cordially towards each other, acting as a family instead of fighting for the spot of top demi-god and being hostile. Hestia took Annabeth's elbow gently, before teleporting to a room in Poseidon's temple. "Here we are, Miss Chase." He took some deep breaths, slowing his beating heart. Eventually, he melted into Annabeth, letting her massage his chest and letting out the soft, gentle breaths that meant he was as relaxed as he could be. She realized with a jolt that that only ever happened when two things were happening.

A withered trio of women stood in the center of the room, with a group of demi-gods standing behind them, looking at the assembled gods cautiously. Percy winced and looked down. "Not the most powerful," he muttered, ignoring the questioning glances. Percy snorted, "Thanks guys, really feeling the love here," but his eyes were filled with mirth and playfulness. Frank nodded shyly, not wanting to offend the hunters. Percy had no such qualms. "Oh yeah, Frank might be the best human shot on a bow that I've ever seen, except for some Apollo kids."

Hades had noticed this as well, and was deeply surprised to see the banter between his son and the other children. They way they interacted was so very different than Hades would have expected. Something that no Athena child or demi-god should ever have to face. I fought her, alone, in the dark, terrified for my life, until Percy and the crew, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, and Leo, came to save me." A note fluttered down into Zeus' lap. Artemis grimaced, lost in thought. Yes, it was a Poseidon thing. But it wasn't Poseidon himself, nor most of his demi-god or godly children. No, one, in particular, was the cause of the rash curse Artemis had placed on every child of Poseidon. She regretted it some days, but then she remembered his actions and felt only slightly justified in her actions.

Poseidon nodded. "You would not be able to use any blade other than a blade forged by a cyclops or of oceanic origin."
