About this deal

I had to get used to it a bit (it's a bit flashier then what I normally wear) but do love my 170T, it quickly became one of my fav watches in my modest collection. The hands are a more pencil-like affair, with a thin strip of lume running up the middle of the bottom 1/3rd of the minute and hour hands before expanding out to nearly fill the remaing 2/3 towards the point. Seller was super nice and even sent me a personal note and a little origami crane inside the package. However the bottom 3 indices are cut short by the LCD, which is a necessary sacrifice given how small the dial is in comparison.

Well, a lot of the watches I feature on this blog get tested out for a couple of weeks and end up getting sold off further down the line. The service of DHL offers you a flexible parcel reception: your shipments will be delivered as you wish. There are no reviews online with the darker LCD, the closest I could find was this quick demo - - and that seems to confirm it's pretty hard to read! The bracelet is very light and flexible- the end links are female and can contort almost all the way around, so they'll conform to any wrist shape.Does anyone know if the LCW M100TD AJF (can't post images yet as it's a first post) has a real dial wheel (like in a dive watch) or is it just decorative? My eyesight and hand-eye co-ordination are fine, but trying to manipulate and re-insert that miniscule collar was a nightmare. Regardless of which variant you prefer, you’ll be pleased to know it will have sapphire crystal over the dial, for unbeatable scratch resistance, with an anti-reflective coating to make it more legible when in direct sunlight. Once the battery is on Hi it will stay there as long as you expose the watch to light -wearing it daily or exposing it to light.

Unfortunately the indices are very cheap looking, I'm not sure if they're actually metal or a chromed plastic but the finishing isn't very good and they look cheap imo. Not only is the case constructed of titanium, but the bracelet is too; meaning the whole package weighs in at a mere 64 grams when adjusted to fit my wrist. Both watches a roughly the same size (although wear very differently), use the same dial (although not indices) and generally use the same design language throughout. I staked the "loops" where the pin goes through, and used a couple drops of Loctite sleeve retaining compound.

What is the estimated real-world use battery life estimates for the button batteries that the solar cells power up? I have a strong preference for understated and simple designs, and this watch offers every function I wanted in one affordable package. In this case, my M170 is the European market version whereas the M100 is the Japanese market version. It's my first titanium watch and it's incredibly light - 62g adjusted for my wrist so it's really comfortable, less than half the weight of my Citizen chronograph I was wearing as a daily before. The LCW-M100TSE-1AER features a self-charging solar battery system that allows it to operate continuously, eliminating the need for regular battery replacements.

This model has five independent alarms - especially convenient for taking medication on a daily basis or keeping regular appointments.
