Over 50 years I have had many many camping chairs, non have come close to this one for: most important comfort, shoulders are supported and you can slouch, you can sit up and the chair moves forward a little with you making using a stove on the ground, doing boot laces etc etc dead comfortable.

From a performance point of view, we were really impressed at how comfortable the Ultra Lite Chair was, even for our taller testers who may have had to get down lower to the ground than others, but still found the deep seat could accommodate their weight well.Maybe it’s because we’ve had a very dry summer, but the chair has stayed mud-free, and we’ve only spilled a drink here or there on it. Believe it or not, all of these chairs have held up to a lot of use over the last couple of years and beyond. For others, specific circumstances of the bikepacking journey determine what are and what aren’t essential items that deserve a spot on the pack list. Packed into a robust carry sack with a loop handle both at the top and side of the bag, the whole chair fits neatly inside.

The cut of the bucket cradles the lower back, providing decent back support, although not as good as the Nemo (see below).

The mesh provides some air circulation but, more importantly, allows for a little extra stretch where it’s most needed—at the hips. All i need to do now is to find same quality like this to replace the rest of my kit and ill be sorted. I have seen too many of the more expensive (twice as expensive) big name chairs sink into soft ground, rendering them utterly useless. It may not be the comfiest stool for long periods of time, but for short breaks, it performs extremely well. Bought to take to Glastonbury so haven't used it properly yet but like the initial feel and look if the chair.
