About this deal

Also Risespray aperture ring is very very light, like you look at it and it turns, the 7artisans is much better in that regard. On the extremely rare occasions when I need the 35mm focal length on my Fuji X camera, I do one of the following: Only differences: on the 7artisans the aperture ring has a different sculpt and turns to the right from 0.95 to max. Risespray aperture ring turns to the left. BTW sorry to hear your professional work is suffering because of omicron. I managed to get in a final cut from my stlist of 35 years, but obviously your clients can’t be masked for the kibd of effect they want!

7Artisans 35mm F0.95 Review and Images - DustinAbbott.net

It’s not the sharpest lens I’ve ever shot, far from it, but it is by far the sharpest fast aperture lens that I’ve ever shot in this segment. And this actually applies when shooting it wide open too!! Yes, it is so satisfyingly sharp at f0.95 that I never even consider stopping it down during day to day use. La qualité de construction du 7 Artisans 35mm F0.95 est excellente. L(objectif est APS-C mais couvre presque le plein format. L’optique est tout en métal , les chiffres sont gravés et non juste imprimés.I remember you mentioning moving to Washington State. How is it there? I’m glad the guy persuaded you to keep the M system :). It’s worth it, and yes, you can get some great nature stuff with it. Leica Binoculars are fantastic. I own a pair for concerts lol. As a super-large aperture lens, this lens has a very good low-light performance. It can present high-resolution illustrations and get the dreamy bokeh while maintaining a compact shape of 62mm and a light weight of about 398g. The minimum focusing distance is only 0.37m, which is user-friendly to those who like to take close shots and close-ups. The optical design uses 11 elements in 8 groups, including two ED (ultra-low dispersion) lenses. The equivalent focal length is about 50mm. It is very good at shooting portraits. It can be used for both indoor and outdoor portraits. It is also one of the focal lengths that photographers love. Since then I have bought their 75mm f1.25 lens for my Leica M system and I enjoy that lens very much. They are putting out a massive amount of lenses at the moment that all seem to have a common denominator which is excellence in both build- and image quality. It’s no secret that I enjoy shooting very fast lenses, but I mean… who doesn’t? So when I saw that they announced the new 35mm f0.95 for different APSC systems, including Fujifilm X-mount, I knew I had to try it. Use an adapted 35mm Zeiss or Nikon lens. I also have a 35mm Vivitar lens I could adapt but its image quality is not that good.

From a specification perspective the 7 Artisans is better build, almost 3 times less expensive and has a higher number of aperture blades Are you interested in trying a remote shoot? You should…it’s a great experience. I can recommend someone if you want. Thanks for your kind words about my professional work. I do remote shoots occasionally now though. Have I told you about these before? I meet up with a model online from around the world, and thanks to modern technology, I can control her camera through my computer with the camera app or Capture One. We use something like Zoom to chat. Some of these models use professional setups (pro cameras, lighting, studio booking, etc.), so the results are just as good as you would get from in-person shooting. It’s been a great experience. The process is slower but the results can be excellent. Plus, it’s a great way to network, and shoot in various locations around the world. Both lenses are quite similar on these criteria with the 7 Artisans having a better flare and sunstars for me but a little bit less good level of Chromatic aberrationsTo me this trait isn’t necessarily the most important trait of a lens like the 7artisans 35mm f/0.95. I use these lenses for creative output, and I tend to use whatever shortcomings they might have to my advantage. But a lot of the flaws that you usually see in this type of lens is simply not present in the 7artisans 35mm f/0.95! This especially applies to sharpness. The bokeh flip! This is actually shot upside down. The top is a puddle reflection. The obvious comparison – 7artisans vs Mitakon With such a large maximum aperture, and focal length of 50mm (75mm equivalent), one would think that this lens would be huge but considering what it is, the size of it is actually quite manageable. In other words, it’s really not that big. I would argue it’s actually compact given what its capabilities are. I had this lens mounted on my Fuji X-T3 for weeks, and it’s something that balances very nicely on the camera. Apologies in return — I’ve been AWOL here —I retired, then we moved from Austin TX to Bellingham, Washington State. In the middle of a nature preserve — nature a different photography for me 🙂 I thought I’d even sell my M system, but the very nice guy at the Leica store persuaded me I could do just as nice work with an M. Also I walked out with Leica binoculars, which are spectacular.
